Mostly machine, but with a human mind, she was a primary suspect for a traitor, particularly considering her conduct during SHODAN's previous engagement. When Hypatia took back the station, it had become a dark, dangerous place. Some few hardy (paranoid) souls had more than prepared for it, the Major's skillset did not happen to include the minutiae of spacecraft, nor piloting, at least not to a sufficient degree of skill to make the jump from Sacrosanct to Asphodel. Fortunately, being a resourceful and dauntless lady, she managed by various permutations of stealth and dirty tricks, to stay alive on Sacrosanct until a fateful encounter with the subverted Noble-Two facilitated their mutual team-up and escape to the planet below.
