Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Now, tensions are at a peak and both sides are preparing for a throwdown. Skirmishes break out on the station and planet. Many of Hypatia's prisoners have been freed, but many more have fallen to the clutches of reprogramming.

Where will you be?


How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked

-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.

-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.

"You sound like you're going to pop." For some reason that possibility makes her giggle a little.

"WHAT IS THAT EVEN SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!" HURGHHHHHHHHHHHHH that is his new noise.

That's too much for Nepeta. She collapses in a fit of giggles, all of them obviously directed at Karkat. It's impossible to take him seriously at this point, even knowing that he ripped open her arm.

Its hologram winked out as soon as CT passed the threshold, playful light giving way to a more material assistance. The holo-emitters were part of her suit, but using them outside the house just drew attention. Instead, Conan busied itself in the security feeds, erasing CT from view by clever photo-manipulation hundreds of frames per second. The little data-pack on CT's back, the one that carried Conan's extra hardware, kicked its fans on with a soft hum as the processes generated waste heat.

It wouldn't stop Hypatia from seeing them if she put forth any real effort to do so, but nobody ever claimed that camo facepaint was meant to be used as armor. A little prevention meant a lot of protection, these days...

<two blocks to the target!> Conan whispered into the tinny little comm unit in CT's helmet. Getting close, now. The library approach was the risky point of exposure. But once that was done, they'd have to go in; there might be guards.

Kanaya crawls backwards on the wall, eyes flicking between the needlewands and Rose's face. She lacks a lot of the technology that would allow her to predict whee this is going and her own vague recollections aren't helping at all. She tilts her head to the side and her eyes lock on to Rose's weapons. She can't afford to let her guard down around this one. Not with weapons like that.

"Yes?"

"Hypatia needs me too. She says she needs me for missions? What do you need me for?"

She pulls her head off the ground for a moment and opens her mouth, showing fangs and tongue, the latter reaching out in an attempt to lick Karkat's neck. Of course, she doesn't get very far before her head thunks back to the ground and her jaws snap close with a 'click'. Without functioning limbs, she's nothing but a torso, really.

"You seem to have misunderstand what I said when I mentioned that I had nothing in my mind. But it is okay. I don't blame you," She claws little pictures into the walls, Geminis and Libras, but mostly Cancer. Always mostly Cancer.

"We didn't all get along? I believe I recall those parcels of information more clearly than most. Perhaps because anger is more valuable to me than warm feelings. It's okay though. I like feeling angry sometimes. It's better than nothing."

Kanaya stares at the blurs that he leaves behind, calm and cold and generally irritated. She keeps trying to work that irritation down into nothing. Getting angry always gets her more hurt than needed. She breathes (why?) and then shifts one of her arms into a chainsaw and sweeps it in a wide arc around her.

"It would have taken me for-fucking-ever." Which is true. Karkat was under the sinking suspicion that if Gamzee hadn't taken a look at this shit, he'd be mulling it over for weeks.
