Jade doesn't sleep a lot any more -- it's like turning her brain off, listening to Hypatia's whispers in the back of her mind and letting them sink deeper into her conscious. But when she does, she dreams of screaming. And it's terrifying; she hasn't had nightmares about monsters since she became the monster, but that's all that it reminds her of. So she screams back, blindly (because in the dreams she can't see, it's completely dark and it's been a long time since Jade Harley was afraid of the dark but in sleep it all comes back to her).
