Tails had stayed in Asphodel to work for the resistance and so that he could become stronger. As an adult, he's become quite a valuable member of the resistance and has toughed up, but if there was one thing that never changed was that he always enjoyed what little time he could spend talking with Sonic. He understood that Sonic didn't want to stick around.

Today, he was actually out and about. Normally he would be in the base doing tech work, but today he was going to do some rescuing. As he used his tails to move fast, he spots Sonic and tries to catch up with him. "Hey Sonic!"
