Kanaya lurks in the tunnels. She lurks everywhere, even though she glows so bright that it can hurt sometimes. She hears tales of the thing that lurks in the tunnels from resistance members when she hisses at them, grabs their heads tight and forces them to tell everything they know. So she goes looking for it in her spare time, when she isn't murdering Resistance members and pressing against Sollux's shield until her body nearly gives out.

If she finds it and it's someone she thinks fits into one of the blank spaces in her mind, maybe she can make it tell her more. If it doesn't, then she'll kill it. It won't be hard. Killing isn't that hard anymore.
