"I can flush the tank," he says hesitantly. "I can't disconnect from the system until there isn't a threat, but I can at least interact with my body for a few minutes at a time if the system's prepared to take the load while my mind's occupied. I can open the tank and let you in for a few minutes. I won't be able to do much, though. My body's deteriorated a lot in terms of muscle. But it'll take a little while for me to prepare the necessary programs."
