He reaches out to knock the projectile aside, but then it closes like jaws around his arm. The sound he makes is horrifying and unnatural, half roar and half scream. He flails back and forth and claws at the offending metal jaws, grabbing hold of the hinges and ripping the thing apart.

Now he's just angry. He wants to tear this prey apart, but there are more of the jaw things coming at him and more on the ground. He flashsteps again and attempts to bring the prey down from behind.
