She will come to him with problems she wouldn't admit to anyone else. She will allow herself to be actually be a little vulnerable around him. She honestly thinks he's a good leader despite his flaws and self loathing, because more than any of he other trolls, he cares. She would have killed Gamzee. She did kill Vriska. Karkat is the only troll who sought a peaceful solution to any of their problems.
I was talking last night about why I like Cobb and Arthur (bluh bluh Inception), and that's kinda how I see their dynamic. Karkat is the leader, the dreamer, the ones who comes up with the plans and gets shit done. It's Terezi's job to keep track of thedetails and make sure it all goes off without a hitch, whether by her own leadership skills or her Seer abilities. She's his pointman through and through, and she will always have his back.
