How do I put this into words?

Summed up, Leoben just wants to help. He knows Washington's been through a lot, and he feels for him. And by helping Washington heal, he might be able to help himself heal as well. At least that's the theory.

Regardless, he will continue to extend that hand of friendship to Washington and help out when he can. Even though he is still completely weirded out by the fact that Wash looks like Helo. That will never stop being weird.
