FUCK ME WHERE DO I EVEN START

york's able to think of sing wash and her wash as two separate people by now, for the most part, and the fact that sing wash is so ... closed off and fun-hating withdrawn most of the time helps, honestly. it still makes him hard to be around, though, and there are still moments when he smiles or looks at her in just the right light that make her whole mind stop for a second. the more he reminds her of her wash, the more jarring it is and the more difficult it becomes to talk to him -- but if there's anything that york's good at, it's rolling with things, and that's just what she does.

she's not really happy with being totally alone, either, and she really does want to be friends with this wash. but she also doesn't quite know how to deal with what she's left behind. as much as york is good at shrugging things off, parting from both her delta and wash is too big of a thing to just let slide without much thought, and with no real support network (yet), she doesn't know how to work through it yet. and so every reminder of wash that someone she loves is gone and far from help is that much sharper, but she sure as hell can't bring herself to talk about it with him. there are still times when she looks at sing wash and she sees david, but like hell she's gonna let him know that.
