The Legacy DVD release is Apr 5, at which point both movies will become a lot more available, 'cause they're re-releasing the out-of-print first one. Right now they're both floating around as torrents, though.

Have you seen the first one? I've heard it's very ..... different.

I grew up with the first one. It's a godawful kiddie movie that had the good fortune to cast better actors than it rated. It also has groundbreaking special effects for the time (1982) that have actually aged reasonably well.

But sweet lord in heaven the script is atrocious.

Oh yeah. It's got some major plot holes, but no worse than any other action flick. Arrange to see it on an HDTV if possible; it's really pretty.

Second only to Tron himself as fandom bicycle, and since programs look like their Users, that means fandom's got him screwing his hot coworker(and his hot coworker's girlfriend/wife--who happens to be his ex-girlfriend--often simultaneously), the program who looks like his hot coworker, the program who looks like another one of his coworkers, and the program who looks like him. Threesomes abound in various permutations.

While the full range of perversion isn't what I'd call settled fanon, pretty much everyone agrees that Flynn is easy. XD
