Probably not? I imagine that he'd get her tones and stuff if she growled or something, but they wouldn't be like, actual words to him. They'd just be sort of vocal cues that he could gauge her mood by.

I'm actually way cooler with that. Silent animals and their mind talk always freaked me out when other animals in the same film, talked talked.
