IN OTHER WORDS Jack never really got to know Bro in his version of canon like... at all. All he knew was he was this weirdo who had an apartment full of puppets and ninja weapons, fought off a whole unit of military dudes with only a sword (+ an overpowered mutant kid + Lil Cal ohgod why), and wasn't bulletproof. He just kind of hated on Bro by association with Dave but never really had anything against him?

And now that he's actually talked to Bro he's decided he is NOT ALL THAT BAD but still a little too Dave-like to not piss him off. Not that anyone doesn't piss Jack off.

dude you killed his bff and his arm and his eye and made scientists try to castrate him, not cool. Dave is his object of hate. All of his attention and hatred is directed at you, until someone manages to piss him off more. Which is unlikely.

Oh yeah, and the whole Invimanus being the bane of humanity thing, I guess. That's kind of bad, but he can't really use that anymore since he doesn't entirely hate Deuce.

NOPE YOU'RE THE BIGGEST MUTANT. Feathers and ghosty tails and shit are a million times weirder than pink hair and horns I mean jeez at least he's adjusted to invisible hands being a thing.

He hates all Daves by default, so he pretty much assumes Davesprite is exactly the same as his Dave and would therefore murder everyone he knows and steal his limbs if he had the chance. A Dave cannot be trusted, ever. And they're dumb. And he hates them.

Well I've gone over his relationship with his universe's Jade a bunch of times already but yeah, basically she saved his life that one time so he can't hate on her even though she is bffs with Dave. It was only because of his stupid honour/debt repaying thing at first but then she was nice to him and made him not starve to death on a beach, so yeah he actually does like her.

Canon!Jade never did any of that obvs, but like his default hate for all Daves he can't hate a Jade. She actually makes him feel kinda bad for all those Dave murder plots B( but there are a bunch of Daves now so she won't be AS upset if he only murders one of them, right???
