Hypatia, in all her infinite wisdom and debatable sanity, has fucked around with the teleporter coding without actually telling anyone--until after the fact, anyway. Maybe it was genuinely an accident, or maybe she's just trying to run a surprise psychological experiment on you.

Whatever the reason, the next time you walk out of a teleporter? Congratulations, you are now the gender you previously were not. Surprise!

★ suddenly notice something very wrong here.
★ react to surprise switching-of-bits.

That won't be bizarre or anything. [That sentence was about as redundant as any sentence was capable of being. After a beat, she recognizes that.]

[Shepard takes a moment to remove the boot sections of her armor. Bending at the waist was problematic, but she got used to it quickly. The boots were most of the leg sections of her armor, but without them, she could walk. That was better.

Upon completing this task, she just stands back up and slings them over her shoulder.]
