DARK FUTURE MEME
[We know who it is we want. We have a collective mind.
We don't miss a single step. We're always right behind.
We know we serve someone else. We have swallowed our pride.
We march to this tune of loss. We take this in our stride.]

Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Where will you be?

How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked
-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.
-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.
-Fill out the form below to give us an idea of what your character is up to, what happened to them etc. Thread with each other! RP it out!
-Also, bring in your extra journals! There won't be the same people on the station ten years from now! If you're planning to app someone, or just have something interesting lying around, toss them in!

[Good point. Jin narrows his eyes at the mention that he might be with Hypatia. This guy obviously doesn't know him.]

I'm not.

[He studies the guy for a moment longer, then shrugs. Well, Jin won't attack first--that's not his style--and if the guy chooses to, well, Jin will handle it.]

Alright, then.

[He starts heading for the pile Barricade indicated.]

[When it comes to organics, there is a very select group that he knows; the ones that aid him, and the ones that torque him off. The rest of them... well, all humans look so much alike, don't they?]

Fair enough, then.

[This guy hasn't gotten near his base and hasn't tried to shoot him yet. As far as Barricade is concerned, he doesn't warrant attacking without provocation. He slips over to a close-by pile.]

This obviously ain't a resistance raid.

[He knows the signs of those. And if it was one, he'd be raiding actual stores, not this dump.]

Guessing it's not a laser death ray or something involving a station-wide EMP.

If I was, I don't think I'd tell you. [Hey, we're all being fair here.]

But it's not. I'm not interested in the war aside from trying to keep as many people from dying as I can.

Scientist sort, then? Well. Can be just as helpful t'your allies that way, too. [And when it comes down to it, he knows that scientists can be incredibly dangerous individuals.]

Heh...I guess you could say that. I think lately I've fallen more into the engineer category.

That's what happens when you let humans make AIs. Somethin' glitches and you get a robopocalypse.

Engineer's still a scientist, of a sort. Just one with more practical abilities.
