It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!

( 01 ) Have a playlist ready! Don't use all your songs--try and narrow it down a little.
( 02 ) Let everyone know how many songs you're working with. Also, which characters you would be willing to write about.
( 03 ) Others tag your post, picking a character or pairing or friendship or familial relationship or whatever, and then choose a number from your list.

Karkat and Jade, 795

"This is fucking ridiculous," Karkat whines in, quite possibly, the most pathetic manner imaginable. The narration cringes from merely picturing it in her headspace. It is that awful.

However, I believe we may all agree that Karkat's position is more awful. It's well past midnight, and Karkat's trapped on Jade's bed. In his hands is a gray Squiddle that, before his outburst, was enjoying a tea party with Jade's own lime green one.

"You woke me up, fuckass! Now, this is your punishment!" Karkat would protest 'I WOKE YOU UP WHILE PATROLLING FOR ROBOTS YOU UNGRATEFUL FUCKMUNCHING MORON OF THE AGES,' but before he can even open his mouth, Jade delivers a furious Squiddle papping that he won't soon forget.

Hours pass, the Squiddles undergo multiple divorces/remarriages/excessive drama, and the sky's turned a murky blue by the time Jade yawns.

"Alright, alright," she finally concedes, "I think I can sleep now."

"Fucking finally. Am I free to leave? Or do I have to continue playing at these bullshit antics without you?"

She slips under the covers, kicking Karkat out of the way so she can stretch properly. Obviously, this is more important than answering. Karkat's halfway to the door before Jade speaks again:

"Get your ass back here! No freedom for you!" She's patting the bed next to her as Karkat gapes wordlessly.

"Let's be tanglebuddies!"
