the song drabble meme
It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!
( 01 ) Have a playlist ready! Don't use all your songs--try and narrow it down a little.
( 02 ) Let everyone know how many songs you're working with. Also, which characters you would be willing to write about.
( 03 ) Others tag your post, picking a character or pairing or friendship or familial relationship or whatever, and then choose a number from your list.
( 04 ) Write a drabble related to that song, using that/those character(s)!
Take as long as you need; there's no time limits here!
And here's some helpful HTML to make it pretty!

Barricade & Shockwave 26
Barricade and Shockwave, 26
He’s not cold enough for science, he figures. Physics, sure; he’d learned that because he’d needed it and he was damn good at it. But he doubted he’d find much friendliness with scientists, and he’d mostly been right. Though this Shockwave is something of an anomaly in that, not that he can complain. Particularly when things are falling apart for him and he’s gotten himself tangled and trussed up in his own lies. Again.
His wing twitches sharply as the humanized ‘Con reconnects wires along his spinal struts, eliciting a sharp ‘tsk’ from the other. He rolls his optics. “Shut it. It ain’t you she’s trying to murder, now is it?” Shockwave grunts at him, intentionally tugging on a bit of tubing too hard and making him jerk as though a live wire just came into contact with his back. As if she needed the extra help against him. "All right, all right, kick your coolin' fans on, mech. Just stop doing that."
That Connor woman, one way or another, is going to be the death of him if he doesn’t get rid of her, first. Honestly. Trying to take her son? He has better things to do.
Like stealing all of the other things that belong to her. Not that Shockwave would let him, he’s certain. So he just has to keep up with the dance, and endure the other’s prodding when he can’t reach his own injuries.
