the song drabble meme
It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!
( 01 ) Have a playlist ready! Don't use all your songs--try and narrow it down a little.
( 02 ) Let everyone know how many songs you're working with. Also, which characters you would be willing to write about.
( 03 ) Others tag your post, picking a character or pairing or friendship or familial relationship or whatever, and then choose a number from your list.
( 04 ) Write a drabble related to that song, using that/those character(s)!
Take as long as you need; there's no time limits here!
And here's some helpful HTML to make it pretty!

She drags him through the snow, her small hand firmly wrapped around his own as they trudge through stuff that Jack probably found repulsive but that filled Jade with a sense of awe. She honestly couldn't tell, as his face was set in the permanent scowl that was generally reserved for occasions of great solemnity. Foiling Daves' plots (that weren't pink), for example, or eating out of his hidden scotties stash.
As she flopped down in the snow, he watched her, putting his hand back in his pocket. "It's fucking cold out here kid, you're gonna die." She laughed; Jack honestly looked like he had never seen cold weather in his life, the way his shoulders were hunched around his ears.
"Make snow angels with me, please!" Jade gave him a look and -- after much cajoling -- he relented, flopping down in the snow as if it was going to kill him. (Did Jack melt in the snow? She probably should have asked first.) Jade grinned and flung her arms through the snow, making a perfect snow angel. It was the work of practice and hard work -- it took a true snow angel master, of course! Standing up, she watched Jack carefully, attempting to not laugh at his endeavors.
"Your snow angel is...really special, Jack!" Okay no she had to laugh. His snow angel was terrible, some sort of mixture of impatience and a general lack of concern for getting up. Jack grumbled about the snow being fucking annoying anyway, and even though he said he hated it, Jade wrapped her arms around him happily. He smelled terrible, something like alcohol and sand and grime, but she didn't really care.
"You know, you're pretty cool!"
A pause.
"Yeah. You're not so bad yourself, I guess."
