the song drabble meme
It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!
( 01 ) Have a playlist ready! Don't use all your songs--try and narrow it down a little.
( 02 ) Let everyone know how many songs you're working with. Also, which characters you would be willing to write about.
( 03 ) Others tag your post, picking a character or pairing or friendship or familial relationship or whatever, and then choose a number from your list.
( 04 ) Write a drabble related to that song, using that/those character(s)!
Take as long as you need; there's no time limits here!
And here's some helpful HTML to make it pretty!

Shaun and Anon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f42MLoLbnnQ
White foam floats down
The program looked down at the waterfall under the rope bridge, then back at the young man beside him. "Are you sure that's a good idea?"
"Oh, I know it's not. That's where the fun is. You have everything set for the camera? You can do this?"
The hike to this spot in the garden zone had been interesting on its own; with all the equipment Shaun was lugging, it had been strenuous. The camera pickup would show that in his flushed cheeks and brightened eyes. Just as things should be.
"Ready. Camera rolling?"
"Yes."
Shaun made a show of checking the ropes once more, for the viewers, then let his profile be recorded against the greenery. Then slowly looked down at the white foaming water underneath him, letting the cam in his helmet show a good panoramic view.
"AND ACTION!"
And down he went, making the rope bridge he was tied to shake when he jumped, and even more when he reached the end of the rope, not all that much higher than the rocks at the bottom of the fall that the water was hitting again.
Anon could probably hear his laughter all the way back up where he was.

Shaun and George - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvyDWGF290M is the song, no youtube for rendition
Shaun started awake with a gasp, his heart beating a mile a minute. For a moment, the darkness was throbbing with the shape of the drying spots of blood on the wall of the van, before she shifted by his side and wakefulness chased away the cobwebs of the dream.
Somehow, in a place that was pretty much impossible (planes were scary. Who the fuck would even consider a space station?!), the even more impossible was a fact. He had his George back. Absolutely and beyond the shadow of doubt, and yes, he was still crazy, that was pretty much a given, and maybe this was all inside his mind and he had lost the last vestiges of touch with reality, but hell if he didn't prefer it like this.
Something in the way his breathing was skipping around must have woken her up, because she tensed slightly. "Shn? Vvrithing alrit?" The sleep-mumbled words were still plenty clear enough for him to understand, and he smiled into her hair. "All's good, George." The simple reassurance was enough for her to relax. "Just..."
"Hmm?"
"Don't ever make me go away, all right?"
"'course."
"Sleep now."
"Mm-hmm." Silence. Heartbeats, his, calming down. "You, too."
