It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!

( 01 ) Have a playlist ready! Don't use all your songs--try and narrow it down a little.
( 02 ) Let everyone know how many songs you're working with. Also, which characters you would be willing to write about.
( 03 ) Others tag your post, picking a character or pairing or friendship or familial relationship or whatever, and then choose a number from your list.

Thane and Garrus - Muse, "Knights of Cydonia"

Funny. Being in Shepard's crew you always figured that you'd go out in a blaze of glory. Guns blazing, following Shepard to the gates of Hell (and back, because she was just that good). So, really, Garrus couldn't complain all that much about being pinned down behind a few crates while gun and laser fire zipped overhead. He craned his neck to get a look at Thane.

"So, when it comes down to it, would you have rather died in bed from your terminal disease or here, getting shot at?"

Thane gave him a deadpan look. "I can't say that I particularly enjoy the thought of either option, but when I imagined my death I did not imagine it... here."

"Yeah, you can say that again," Garrus muttered as he tried to get a good look. He jerked his head back as a bullet ricocheted off a nearby wall.

"...any ideas?" Garrus asked.

"Well, we could wait for them to die of boredom. Somehow, I don't think that's an option, though."

"Yeah," Garrus laughed, "Asking them nicely probably isn't going to do any good either."

He paused and then hefted his rifle.

"Let's get this over with."
