[Usually? At this point? Hiccup would be over-anaylizing Jim's reaction right down to his breathing in an over-invested attempt to do everything Right.

But the potion's soothed away such anxieties. It's enough that Jim didn't pull away. And if he had, Hiccup probably would've just pursued him.

Granted, this little Viking isn't very forward on his best of days so...maybe he'll just stay close and hope Jim gets the idea that he wouldn't mind a kiss or seven.]
