Jorge thinks Rookie seems like a fairly well-adjusted, level-headed kid, even if there have been a couple points when he'd have been perfectly happy not to have a voice of reason getting in the way of punching-aliens-in-the-face time. He questions Rookie's weirdass friendship with O'Brien to a certain degree, since dear god is that kid ever jumpy.

Grid's pretty damn fond of him, if only because he's a) huge, b) a source of warmth, c) robust enough she doesn't have to worry about being overly careful around him. Seriously, though, Shockwave is pretty important to Altman at this point. He did a good job of endearing himself to Altman by helping him out upon arrival, and since then Altman has warmed up to him a lot even with the occasional bout of 'oh god is this guy crazy.'
Who is he to judge that, anyways.There's still a lot about Shockwave he's sort of (UNSURE) at, but as of 'Wave saving his ass he's pretty much gone FUCK IT and thrown his major paranoias out the window. He definitely considers Shockwave a good friend, weirdness and all.He's still concerned about Shockwave in general, given that he's lost somebody important and Altman knows really well how bad that hurts, so. Yeah. He's perfectly happy to hang around and be a pillow, since he's bad at going TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FEELS at people.
Also Altman is forever alone and having a friend is super rad, even if he thinks he doesn't deserve them.WHOOPS THIS GOT LONG

Altman is pretty damn fond of Skyfire. He's a genuinely kind person, almost to a ridiculous degree, and after all the shit Altman's been through in the last year or so he's just. Grateful for it? Previously he would have been all HAHA WHO THE HELL IS THAT NICE but yeah. If things keep going as they are he'll probably have a big abloobloobloo angstbaw on the poor guy at some point, l-lmao (UNSURE)

Okay fjghdfg Skyfire has been shanghai'd into filling the big awkward void in her life that comes from being without a colony. On an instinctive level she needs others to flop on and snooze beside and just generally interact positively with, and in the absence of any sisters on the station Skyfire is basically her hugbox. She's ridiculously attached to him and given her basic personality this translates over to being KINDA SUPER POSSESSIVE and a little butthurt whenever it looks like he might like someone better oh gosh!!!
