He doesn't really know him too well yet, but although Rookie's kind of pissed him off before he seems decent enough to get to know better. Which for Wash means "be civil to."

Thoughts on Delta??

Wash knows what he is quite well, but he can't help but find Delta's logical approach to everything frustrating. In his mind, some things have to be done ignoring logic entirely, and he knows Delta (and, by extension, York) can't really get that the same way he can.

But then Wash's version of logic is "shoot whoever gets in his way" so maybe this is not a bad thing.
