No really Grid is kind of like an annoying cat who seems to end up on his hood from time to time and hisses when he pushes her off. She's basically the only pet on the station he can tolerate without being too bothered, possibly because she's big enough for him to bellyscritch and has limbs placed so he actually knows where her belly is.

She can talk, too, sort of, but not as annoyingly as Dug. And she's not as painful to talk /to/. Sure there's some translation issues, but he deals with it.

Nemesis suspected Skyfire was Skyfire when Shockwave first said so, but he figured he'd let 'Charlie' have the mask. He wasn't so much...mad or annoyed as not understanding why he did so, and that was why he sounded grumpy when Skyfire outed himself. Because, really, what was the point if you were going to do all that? It wasn't like you had an altmode to hide. He'd have assumed Skyfire had trust issues if Skyfire hadn't been so open to trusting he wouldn't smoosh him when he got up close, but, well, maybe that was the Autobot badge helping. He doesn't know. He's not sure he cares.

He is interested in seeing if Skyfire can help with his repairs, though he's only so hopeful.

Nemesis is not sure if you are crazy or telling the truth, but you know what?

You can go first. He'll let you. So long as he gets the final blow, he's fine with you going on the front lines. Still, he'll be right behind you.

No, really. He will be. Just because he's going to expect you to put your money where your mouth is doesn't mean he'll feed you to the wolves, or the Dark God, as it were.

Cade is probably the closest thing Nemvoy has to a friend, shorted only by the fact that Nemesis doesn't call anyone that. But he is. The fact that he's his sparring partner and other stress relief is probably the biggest factor in that; Nemesis feels he can 'let go', as it were, and not have to worry about trying to live up to the Alternity or to his own expectations, he can just fight and enjoy it and everything else. And Cade seems to like it, too, so it's mutual. Which is also good!

Because of this, yes Nemesis is protective, but it's because he hasn't really...had anyone to treat like this before. It's not a crush, mind, and there's no romance in this. But this is a strong feeling that Nemesis has towards Barricade and while he wouldn't be above smacking Cade if he got himself in trouble for being stupid, woe be to someone who just outright goes after him for no good reason because Nemesis will fuck their shit up.

Moreso than he would normally, at least, because he does sort of consider himself unofficial Prime/protector of the Cybertronians on the station.

Spoiler warning: Cade likes it a lot. He didn't get to fight all that often before getting here and he'd kind of missed being able to let it go like that.

He's also slightly flattered about his protectiveness, he just doesn't want it to turn into another thing where someone gets protective of the short guy and people start torturing them to get at said short guy's vulnerabilities.

Though at least he can pass it off as 'Nemvoy is the protector of the Cybertronians here and he's zealous about it' this time. Which he's doubly glad about.

Anon's is still a friend-who's-not-called-one, but the relationship is...a more calm one than Barricade. A voice of reason, as it were. Nemesis will certainly listen and consider his words, giving them a bit more weight than others - mostly because he still feels, however slightly, indebted to Anon regarding the whole species-freakout he had when he was a troll. Or maybe not so much indebted as thankful, seeing as the whole taking care of Jalen thing was meant to make them even.

He probably would have done it anyway, though. That's just who he is.

If Anon needs any further assistance in the future, Nemesis will be one of the first to answer - especially if heavy firepower is needed. He's got your back, bro.

oh my christ why won't you stop accusing him of trying to murder people YOU ARE THE MOST ANNOYING THING EVER.

Well, not THE most annoying thing, but it does get tiresome. Nemesis knows pretty well by now that saying he's innocent is just going to be worthless. So he's not going to. He's going to prepare to defend himself in case you ever make good on your threat to try and hurt him, but he's not going to try to and kill you, necessarily, other than try and teach you not to mess with him.

I...don't think much has changed in his view since last time, tbh. He still considers himself having to look out for Shockwave. He still respects his intelligence, but wonders if he can actually fix him like he's said - which is partly why he's open to others learning about his systems. Others who might be a little more manipulable than Shockwave because seriously man you crave knowledge he's offering it to you why isn't this working

also, want to handwave Shockwave doing upkeep/checks of Nemvoy's systems off-camera, like, once-twice a week? it's cool if they've slowed since he's emo lately.
