TV TROPES MEME
For those who didn't know, we have an actual page this-a-way.
But anyway-
1. Comment with each of your characters and tropes you think fit them.
2. Others reply with tropes they think fit your character.
3. Go forth and reply to others.
4. We all waste the rest of the day/evening/forever on that website.

Chellbot
Additional tropes from the AU + Sing experiences...
Ridiculously Human Robot
Robotic Reveal: Usually involving either someone noticing her glowing eyes, or her opening up her arm panels to prove there's wires in there. That video she posted where she was first revived was one of these being pulled on herself, basically.
Unusual User Interface: Datajack version. Those cables in her arms and ports on her back were for linking up to Aperture machines, mostly for repairs/programming tweaks.
Mismatched Eyes: This trope will always be boatlights to me. ;_; Anyway, my headcanon is that ever since the black rock event, her eye lights have been blue (which both were, originally) in one eye and orange in the one that was damaged. No reason, other than it being cool.
There'll be more, this is one of those moments when I wish I had an edit button.
Re: Chellbot
Anime Anatomy: GLaDOS didn't see a point in adding that.
Brain Uploading: How she became a robot.
Electronic Speech Impediment: When damaged, her voice becomes staticy and she develops a stutter. (The "stutter" in her text posts was just her having trouble typing.)
** ComputerVoice: She sounds much like, well, herself normally, but with a tendency towards monotone, and that synthesized quality GLaDOS has.
For Science: She doesn't care so much about getting out of here; she's interested in the teleporters because it's a puzzle to solve. Well, that and she's concerned that they might teleport her into the vacuum of space one of these days.
* No Social Skills: I feel like I'm not getting this across very well.
* Robo Speak stock phrases ("no data available...")
* Sanity Slippage: "i understand now. this is a test :)" I kind of want her to go a little nuts sometime even without the black rock damage. AI in the Portal universe isn't exactly reliable, after all.
* Stockholm Syndrome: let's just say her thoughts on GLaDOS are complicated.
* Terse Talker
* Why Did It Have To Be Space: She's fine with being inside a giant space station, though, as long as the airlocks stay closed. It's actually ending up out there that she's scared of.
Incidentally, she'd be really bothered by being on a shuttle to Asphodel. A lot less between you and the void than when you're on Sacrosanct. So obviously that needs to happen someday.
