But yeah. It kind of freaks Goggles out to see a kid put through the same shit he was, and more. He's not big on the protective instincts, but Sollux pings what little he has to the point where it's very possible he'll start getting all big brothery with him.

That said, he's not sure if he actually wants her gone permanently. He kind of got used to thinking of her as helpful in a really obnoxious way, and she might be helpful again if Hypatia becomes a threat.

Besides all that, though he'd hate to ever admit it, she scares the shit out of him. There's no way he could have beaten her if she'd actually viewed him as a serious threat, and he's acutely aware of that. He might not actually have any plans to kill her, but he'll do everything he can to make sure she doesn't get too powerful.
