Tails is Sonic's best buddy, period, end of story. Even when Sonic is "solo" (or as close as he can get to it with the insane supporting cast in the Sonic games), Tails is always right there, by his side. Flying him around, providing info, or pulling something insane like an alien translator right out of his ass. Really, Sonic has no clue how he comes up with the stuff he comes up with, and he doesn't really care. His thing is going fast, Tails' thing is weird machines. That's cool with him.

It's really not even something Sonic has to think about at this point - he'll always have Tails' back, and Tails will always have his back. The list of people Sonic trusts that much is VERY short, and Tails is undoubtedly at the top.

Heh. I should really have Tails tell him a few stories with his own solo adventures in DDD or those two other ones he had in his games (Tails' Adventure and Tails' Sky Patrol), unless you have head-canon where he would know about them already.

Okay, initially M Sonic was really weirded out to see another version of himself, but well, they're both pretty easygoing guys, obviously, so it didn't take long for him to acclimate to the idea of beating up a monster that eats time and space with a younger version of himself. No surprise, M Sonic likes his younger self quite a bit. They have all the same interests!

The weird thing is, M Sonic sorta regards C Sonic as a different guy, because thinking of him as just being himself when they're standing right next to each other is a little too much for him to wrap his brain around, and besides that, they've obviously had different experiences at this point. He doesn't even know if C Sonic's experiences are gonna be the same as his.

Time travel, man. It's a bitch.

Yeah, it's hard to really think of someone as the same exact dude when you can talk and interact with them.

Time travel is totally crazy, and as long as C Sonic's hanging out in Sacrosanct, their experiences will undoubtedly be different. At least a little, anyway.

But I think C Sonic's still looking forward to the future, whenever he gets there. If it's gonna great, then he's totally up for it.

Strider just might be the SECOND coolest guy Sonic's ever met. No guesses who the first one is.

Sonic gets Strider's whole "rapping superman ninja" shtick, and he thinks it's both dumb as hell and one of the most goddamn awesome things he's ever seen. Competing with a guy like that is just an absolutely basic reaction on Sonic's part. Partially because he knows it'll be fun as heck and shenanigans are almost guaranteed to happen (this is why he really wanted Robotnik to build them a course to snowboard on), but also because his weird alpha-hedgehog mentality says he HAS to challenge this guy and prove he is the fastest and the coolest. It's got a lot to do with hedgehog psychology.

Also, Bro's one of the few people to not go "uh what the fuck are you?", which earns him a few extra points.
