The most awkward thing since awkward was invented.

Seeing him with Cerberus was a major blow to her trust in him, hence her reacting so badly on Horizon. She's had time to cool off since then, though, and reconsider some of what she said: he's Shepard, after all, and a paraderp like the Shepard she knew wouldn't just go to them for shits and giggles. She's still a little peeved though. At some point she probably won't be able to keep that bottled up anymore... :|a

Speaking of him still being paraderp Shepard, alternate universes are not helping the awkward factor! Because he's mostly the man she knew and loved cared about but the subtle things that don't match up unnerve her. Not to mention the Virmire thing. You pretty much can't beat the guy you fell for were kind of a thing with telling you he left you to die for sheer uncomfortable factor.

He's still Shepard, though, so she still has a huge amount of respect for him. If he asked, she'd ultimately still follow him to Hell and back... although she might hesitate more than she would have before Horizon.

For the time being she's just kind of trying to shove her ~feelings~ back and pretend certain things (Ilos) didn't happen. This probably won't work. :D

He was so not planning on ever having to explain to Ashley that saving her wasn't the tactically sound decision. All the awkward and all the horrible feels, forever. :(

I'm totally in favour of bottled feels coming back up, for the record, whether it's the peeved ones, the romantic ones, or both. Possibly at the same time!
