DYING. shockwave just kind of is operating under the assumption of thane knowing who and what he is since he and zaeed seem to be friends. and also because he just has this creeper like feel. he will feel very stupid about blabbing about stuff once he figures that out. he's just like: thane = friends with zaeed. thane remembers him even though they'd NEVER TALKED BEFORE WHAT KIND OF DECEPTICON TRICKERY IS THIS. thane must watch people. he likely watches his friends then. zaeed has no censoring. his conversations with zaeed aren't private. THANE MUST KNOW.

i just see him planning this ultimate idea to stump thane and then being all "bwaaa wait whaaaat" when it doesn't work because thane doesn't know what he is.

Not very easy. Galaxy's best assassin. And if Shockwave is being factual about being a tactician, he'd be wary. :|a I think if he was pointed to a certain location, he might ask someone else to go.
