It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!

Zombie called it the rift and always raised his brow just a little when Feferi laughed a bit at that. She knew a thing or two about rift's, her 'extended family' of sorts made a comfortable home in one, and Zombie always had this way of hitting the nail on head. Hammerhead- shucks, she knew there was a good pun in there somewhere. There current predicament was kind of distracting.
See the thing about rifts was all sorts of creeping, crawling and generally fanged things lived in them, and some of those creeping crawling things had flooded the station. Actually they were more rotting than creeping, and more trudging than crawling. Zombie didn't seem to find it too funny.
"If someone tries to shoot me in the head one more-" He stopped only when Feferi hefted her 2x3dent into the head of one of the dead menaces right behind Zombie. "Thanks."
"No problem goofball!" Feferi answered cheerfully as she pulled her weapon (and some of the creature's brain) out of the fallen monster's head. "What were you saying?"
"Yes, it was reasonable the first handful of times." He continued, gunning down a handful of encroaching zombies.
"Well you are kind of green around the gills." Feferi answered sympathetically, cutting the head clean off one of the creatures near her.
"Admittedly. Still, duck-" And she did, letting him shoot another of his apparent brethren full of holes. "Still, I believe I may need to address this later."
"How will-" Feferi paused, doing a fairly impressive flip to avoid a zombie before slaying it. She ruined the moment by grinning fin protrusion to fin protrusion as she turned to Zombie.
"Hey, did you see? I totally kicked his tail fin, oh wow! That's 13! I'm so going to win!" She said in an excited, sing song voice. Zombie simply shook his head, gunning down the remaining group and turning to her with a small grin.
"39." He stated, making her pout.
"That is cheating!" She accused, wagging a finger at him. It didn't take long for her to grin again, hurrying passed him and turning, waving her arms.
"Come on seaslug, there's more over here! I can still beat your bass! Hurry!" She turned and hurried away, Zombie following after her with the gun he had picked up slung over his shoulder, an apathetic sort of bemusement on his face.
