TEN THINGS TO TEN PEOPLE

→ Post with your character ICly saying ten different things to ten different people.
→ Or eight things to eight people, or twelve things to twelve people. Whatever.
→ You can say things your character wants to say, things your character refuses to say, whatever.
→ But you can't say who those people are!
→ React to everyone. Make guesses or reassure or whatever. And have fun!

Then they come back, with more people and better weapons! What if you've chased them out time and time again? What if they've actually hurt those you care about? What if they'd really do better in a pie than just generally existing as a douchey nuisance?

That don't happen. A lone dragon's a powerless dragon. Gettin' tossed outta the clutch's the worst thing that can happen. You gotta hunt for yourself, find somewhere t'live, and still avoid humans since they'll prob'ly kill you. It ain't murder, but you ain't gonna live anywhere near as long as the dragons still in the clutch will.

Sure, sure. Dragons are glorified lizards in your world, I get that. Now say for instance, you've got your clutch and a human stumbles across you guys! And they're going to run screaming to the nearest town to tell everyone about the big, scary monsters living up the hill! What then? A little blood on your claws, or damning your entire clutch?

S'why we avoid areas with lots of humans. S'the kinda decision we don't wanna have t'make.

I know what my father'd do, yeah? But... that don't make it right.

Just wait until you're getting explorers and hikers and mountaineers. Humans have a habit of spreading.

Look, at the end of the day, it really just comes down to kill or be killed! Right or wrong don't enter into it. It's about surviving and protecting the ones you care about.
