So I've been ogling everyone's username all over this game, and some of them are actually kind of interesting, but I know nothing about the canon and am too lazy/don't have the means to find out. So it's time for

standaloneshell is based on the show's title. I wish I could say that it was clever and based on the fact that with Motoko missing most of her early childhood memories that she's the literal example of the standalone complex, the copy with no original.

But you know, that's a retcon. I couldn't think of a clever name when I made her account.

blackcatjiji is that way because when I went to make his journal, Bolt had recently come out and all the journalnames that combined any form of "cat" with any form of "sarcasm" or synonyms were all taken by Mittens RPers.

So my journal names are super boring. :|
