[She gives a little nod, not enough to disconnect, and not trusting herself to speak. She was slowly overcoming the urge to bolt, but ... wasn't really sure what to do instead. What ... really, was one supposed to do in a situation like this?]

[After a few long awkward moments where her brain is internally flailing, she'll reach her hand up, pausing just a fraction, unsure, before setting it against the back of his neck.]
