It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!

"The process is simple," the terminator explained as it sat there with its similarly synthetic compadre out behind the barracks. They were inside the base mere moments ago, but as the pair of them were much more comfortable speaking to one another in the electronic whir of geth, it wasn't long before their Sarah and Shepard, respective "owners" as it were had it up to here with their irritating and constant stream of clicks and whistles were they politely asked to fuck right along and out the door. They did, and with no argument, and here they were out in the back.

The larger of the two, used its five-fingered hands to play with Legion's own, four-digit quarian designed right as T-800 shaped the fingers to its will, lecturing, "the thumb is held out at a ninety degree angle, the remaining fingers are pressed to the palm like," the terminator squeezed its hands around Legions, "this. Are you following?"

Legion croaked, one of its face plates cocking up in somewhat confused amusement, "we are following." It assured the terminator as it repeplicated the gesture with its free hand. Pretty soon, the pair were masters at the 'thumbs up.'

"Thumbs up. A human hand sign that significances the recipient of the gesture has done a extraordinary job or something of amazement, or, 'cool.' Correct?"

"Affirmative," the terminator nodded, pleased, though neither did, or could, really show it. Although, the terminator did smile when Legion, after its lesson, pressed fingers to palm, thumb at a near-perfect ninety degree angle and gave the terminator an honest to Creator thumbs up, one hand still in the terminators. There was no data available as to why that last part was.
