EVERYTHING TAKES YOU BACK
the song drabble meme
It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!
( 01 ) Have a playlist ready! Don't use all your songs--try and narrow it down a little.
( 02 ) Let everyone know how many songs you're working with. Also, which characters you would be willing to write about.
( 03 ) Others tag your post, picking a character or pairing or friendship or familial relationship or whatever, and then choose a number from your list.

#14: 3 Doors Down - Kryptonite (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPU8OAjjS4k)
He'd never admit it to anyone that didn't live at Spartan Base, but Emile was irrationally attached to Killer Deathbite. He was just a damn rabbit, fr God's sake, but he was Emile's rabbit, and damn if he was going to let anyone else screw with the little fuzzball. Sometimes he even felt like he could get through anything, even stupid civilian interactions, as long as he had the bunny at home to go back to. He knew Killer would always look up to him like he was Superman or something, no matter what.
He just hoped no one would ever use his weakness against him.
#8 - Foo Fighters - My Hero (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVKDQgT_b-Y)
Watching the IIs in battle was always a special kind of guilty pleasure for Emile. Sure, there was always that feeling that he could be just as good--better, maybe--but that didn't change that Jorge was as much a work of art in the field as anyone ever was. It made him feel proud in a way that he could only duplicate by watching all the rest of Noble at work - seamless, tireless, and the deadliest forces the human race had ever produced.
He could never let Jorge know, of course. That would be admitting someone was better than him at something, even if it was only in looking like a damn hero.
