He wasn't really sure how the cat had followed him through the teleporter, but then, cats were like that. Today Emile was looking over the overlay of Reach again, not that that was a huge surprise between his vested interest in the area and that he'd been directing the ponies there.
It wasn't green like this at home - the sky was red, not blue, and if there was a single blade of grass left on the real Reach, he'd be damn surprised. Still, he could hardly do real recon if he had a cat following him around.
"You come here often?" Okay, so it wasn't an original line, but why had the cat come here?
"No, I followed you," Jiji said archly, even though you weren't supposed to be able to with the teleporters. But Emile hadn't exactly made his last transmission to the ponies private, so the coordinates were right there for anyone to look at.
Emile gestured broadly. "Well, this is it. Closest thing to home on this station.
At least, until it decides to remake Onyx."
