Time for a Plurk friending meme! Plurk is a microblogging thing that's pretty much if LJ, Twitter, and AIM had a threeway baby. Those who have one can fill this out and gain new friends~ Those who don't have them-- well, you can make one and join us.
Kuruma A/S/L: 29/F/Boston PLURK NAME:greenanddying CHARACTERS: Just Kevin Flynn here INTERESTS: Tron (clearly), Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Star Wars, Star Trek, the Culture, various obscure books from the 60s and 70s--okay basically if it's about computers/robots/space or set in the future, I do or will like it. I also do cross stitch and I am learning Japanese oh-so-slowly. My degree is in aerospace engineering. PLURK CONTENT: Fandom, RP, bitching about my life ANYTHING ELSE: I am really, really far left, politically. No, like, Europe far left, not America far left, aka "the center." MACRO TIME:
So many of my friends lived in Allston when they were in grad school. (And then my brother was in Brookline, and I was like "how the hell are you affording this?" *construction noises directly outside the window* "Oh.")
I'd actually prefer to live in Boston, or at least one of the 'burbs on the Green Line, but Natick's the sweet spot between price/space and commuting forever.

It does seem to be "that place grad students go to wail in despair, and also punch hipsters"
