OKAY OKAY SO

Image

THE LONE WANDERER'S DAD AKA JAMES.

or

Image

THE LONE WANDERER'S BULLY AKA BUTCH.

I would love either of them. Pretty much ANYBODY from the Fallout universe, may it be Fallout 1 or New Vegas would be MUCH LOVED AND WELCOME. Except Brotherhood of Steel. No hairy deathclaws. But yeah, I will make you icons if you app anybody from Fallout canon.

And this is a hell of a stretch but:

Image

ANYBODY except my beautiful flower of a gangster Gat. I am apping him soon, when my computer gets fixed and I can play games and screencap without it overheating and exploding. So. Any castmates would be beautiful. :') I WILL MAKE YOU ICONS AND LOVE YOU TENDER.

So so want to app Dogmeat, but it would never work since well he's just a dog. A kick ass dog, but still.

[identity profile] kidfromthevault.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
It could be an AU dogmeat where he talks. But Dogmeat does have history! An AU timetraveling dogmeat from Fallout 1 to 3. Uh. :|a yeah that would be hard

Or even Rex? He has a bit more personality, what with the Denver police, Legion past, and a brain transplant.

[identity profile] robots-omgh8u.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm you know I hadn't thought of that and he did sorta time travel in the second game. I'll have to think on this some more cause I really would love to play him just to see if it could work. Plus I imagine Vaultie would just about flip out from joy at seeing his dog.

Rex does have a lot of history, but he just doesn't have the charm of Dogmeat.

[identity profile] kidfromthevault.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
I loved the King much more than I liked his dog. But yes, Vaultie would love it. :3a And dogmeat could be friends with Dug. It would be a magical world.

[identity profile] robots-omgh8u.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
I wish to travel to this magical world, where can I buy tickets? lol Does this mean I get icons if I do pull it off somehow?

I don't know why they didn't let him be a companion, or one of the Kings anyway. That would have been a lot cooler and more vegas than a cyberdog.

[identity profile] kidfromthevault.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! I will draw and/or search the depths of the internet for good fallout 3 pictures. If I can manage to find as many pictures of LW in Chinese stealth suits, I can probably find Dogmeat.

Also omg laser Dogmeat icon.

And yes. :( I wanted a King. I wish there were more missions with The Kings. They were one of the best factions- they were accepting of all, The King was great, they had good style, and they helped the people of Freeside.

[identity profile] robots-omgh8u.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, laser dogmeat! Thankfully I already have the journal for this.

Damn it I'm torn now! Because I wanted to app one of the republic commandos this cycle.

[identity profile] kidfromthevault.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
oh ok well I guess you can app that other guy instead

I'll just go to that corner over there...

and cry

[identity profile] robots-omgh8u.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
That is sooooo cheating!

*sigh* let me go see if I can even work out how to app Dogmeat first. Even if I don't app him this cycle I will be for sure the next one.

[identity profile] robots-omgh8u.livejournal.com 2011-02-28 03:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I have a lot of help lol.

I think I'll go track down a mod this week and discuss the issues with them to see if there are any major hurdles I have not thought of. On the bright side doing the Setting section of the app will be a piece of cake for me.

TUNNEL SNAKES RULE.

And do you know why?

Mostly because they rule.

Also, where is that last picture from?

I can show you a real tunnel snake Amata.

And it's from Saint's Row 2. :'D haha I feel silly saying I play that game but it's SO GOOD AND CRACKY but has some serious moments and irritable characters.

I have played that game! Steam had it discounted. But only some of it, because I got fed up with attacking some gang members in an out of hte way place and it triggering everyone they ever knew from all over the city to suddenly know exactly where you are and escend upon your location!

Alas!

I liked its ability to choose your gender/appearance better than the GTA games, but that part of it made it a bit of a chore.

[identity profile] kidfromthevault.livejournal.com 2011-03-01 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
BEST VIDEO

and that is hard when you're lower level/ high notoriety. Though if you eve play again, if you run out of their territory, go to a safehouse, or go to uhh... One of the drive throughs, forgive and forget, they'll stop chasing you. Customizing was great. Especially when you can go through an epic cutscene as a buff tall male in lacy drag.

I thought it was!

It's one of those things which GTA somehow did realistically, if memory serves right (or at least, gave only a certain amount of time for it). I'll probably try to reinstall it, some day. Even if the tutorial is buggered, because it won't let me crouch. DX

Of course, soon after, I got into the amazement which is 'Mafia 2' and loved that far more. c:

[identity profile] kidfromthevault.livejournal.com 2011-03-01 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
I think that might be the PC version. :( I heard it had a lot of bugs and never got any support. But the console version is fabulous.

A-actually I tried Mafia 2 and. Hated it for some reason? I don't know why! Lack of cross-dressing and gangster fabulous, perhaps.

It was. There's something where it apaprently doesn't recognise certain keys or something. I have a feeling that the tutorial would've given me certain items which would've made the alterantive I was forced to choose; a straight escape off the island, a lot easier. It was horridly frustrating.

M2 is glorious! Unless you didn't get further than the World War 2 prologue? Because that's a little bit generic. But I found just walking through the streets while it was snowing some of the most immersively atmospheric stuff I've seen on a computer game. :)

[identity profile] kidfromthevault.livejournal.com 2011-03-01 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah... sadly, that happens a lot with games that are usually meant for XBAWKS and they try to port it to the PC- same with Bully, which was great but shit on PC. I wish all companies were like Valve support-wise.

I played through the prologue, but got bored and gave it to my brother- and then later on I messed around on his mostly finished game and still didn't find it fun. It was really pretty though!

Ah, you missed the best parts! :D

And, ow, I thought of getting 'Bully' a few times. Was mostly actually put off by the fact you can't choose your character's gender/look, but this has convinced me not to get that!

same person, different account o7

[identity profile] fyi-iamaspy.livejournal.com 2011-03-01 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Omg no, don't not get Bully though! I mean, if you only have PC... then yeah. But if you have any other console? Yes. Yes get it get it with the speed of a million speedy things. One of my favorite games of all time. I think I have at least three copies of the game across different systems. (Even the PC version, but I got it for $5 haha)

And you can dress Jimmy up. :'D It's sort of like how the new GTA was, and I think San Andreas too if I remember correctly, where you're given a certain character but you can dress them up however.

The only console I've ever had is a PSP and the main reason for me having got it was over and done with, by the time it got delivered, so... Yeah. :)
