Last night was great. You drank, you gambled, you ran around naked, you hooked up with a girl/guy or three-- too bad you can't remember it. Waking up in a hotel bed isn't so bad but...

[ Prosthetic livers... Well, that gives an idea as to how Shepard can be so hardy, but Six gets the feeling that, even without such enhancement, Shepard is as tough as she goes.

I drink irradiated alcohol. [Shepard is used to generally unamused reactions to that. She gets them on a regular basis.]

Someone tried to kill me with it once. [Shepard oh-so-casually stretched her arms up and folded them behind her head.] Acquired a taste for it after that.

[Hm. Most of the humor had gone right out of Six. Shame. Maybe a joke would do the trick.]

Don't suppose this was a passive aggressive attempt at murder, was it?

[ While Six does stiffen at that, she can sense the joke, at least. And, really, Shepard? Someone tries to poison you with it, and you get a taste for lethal drink. It's almost... amazing. ]

I don't make "attempts," Commander Shepard. [ Tries to put some morbid joke inflection in her voice. Might come off as husky, though. ]

[You think that's bad? You should hear about the time she took on a thresher maw with a pistol, a krogan teenager, and Mordin. A handful of clips, a few grenades, and some harsh language and she still managed to headbutt an alien in the face before leaving. Good times.

The inflection was all over the place with that, equal parts factual statement, morbid humor, and come on, but Shepard still had to applaud Six's ability to hold a flat expression.]

Good point. [One Shepard didn't doubt for a moment.]
