[Shepard just slides a little closer. Somewhere in her unconscious mind she recognizes that if she's this comfortable and someone is next to her, she doesn't need to go for the closest firearm. Unfortunately Carter is very large and so Shepard is separated from the blanket.

She's gone long enough without blankets. She likes them. She huffs and actually opens an eye as she grabs for it.

[Shepard has a moment of semi-consciousness where everything about this situation makes sense. Were she not hungover like no man has ever been before, and thus unwilling to fully awaken and face the full consequences of her partying, that illusion might have vanished. Good thing Kaidan liked to live in the darkest basements he could find.

Unfortunately, even without waking fully, Kaidan was warm and him, plus the blankets, was a bit too much. Without really moving her upper body, Shepard managed to pull the covers down and off with her leg and discard them.

Much better.

And back to sleep before her blossoming headache could catch up with her.]
