[After a brief hesitation, he takes off his shades. They kept getting in the way last time.

He looks Jade in the eyes, maybe searching there for the answer on how exactly this works. None makes itself obvious. Oh well.

Time to just try for more smooching, then.]

[ Oh.

She looks him in the eyes, suddenly feeling a bit flushed at his intent look. Trying something different this time, she kisses him back eagerly, closing her eyes and leaning into him. ]

[Oh, this is nice. Encouraged by her response, he tries for something new as well: he plants soft, light kisses on her lips, making each one a little deeper than the last. He's not still entirely sure where he's going with this, but it seems to be working better than the previous attempt.]

[ Something about this is a lot better, though she's not quite sure what. Jade realizes that she likes this, the feeling of anticipation between the touch of their lips. Were those old-fashioned movies actually right this time? Her hands grip his shirt and hair, pulling him closer, if it's even possible. ]

[He sighs happily, once again stroking her hair with one hand. Jade seems to like what he's doing now, so he keeps it up, wandering to the corners of her mouth, letting each kiss last a little longer.]

[She has her chance to take initiative when Dave slows down for a moment to catch his breath, pulling back just enough to look her in the eyes again. He smiles slightly, quite happy to just stay like this for a while.]

[He slows down a little, suckling gently on her lower lip. He has no idea if she's okay with this, and that worries him a little, but this feels great.]
