[Virgil chuckles and pulls back as much as he can with her soft little ivory fingers digging into his scalp.] Good morning sunshine, the earth says hello~ [He sings, mostly out of tune.]

[Gardenia stares at him, the whites of her eyes showing to a rather disturbing degree. Finally she manages, through gritted teeth:] You twinkle above us.

[And then those soft little fingers are on his throat, clasping it a bit too firmly.] We twinkle. Below.

Good morni-- [His muscles stiffen involuntarily and he stares at her, clearly uncertain. If she were to release him right now, he would collapse in a boneless pile for a few seconds. She had gotten too good too fast at the throat-kneading business.]

[But she doesn't let go, not yet - instead she runs her hand (still pressing down hard) up and down his throat, her fingers massaging the one part of Virgil she could actually do any real damage to.] That's no way to wake anyone up, is it?

[She sounds like she expects an answer. She also sounds like there is really only one correct answer, and giving the wrong one will indeed lead to consequences. But for now, she simply rubs the tender flesh of his throat.]

[Oh shit. He wasn't expecting her to be in one of her moods. He wasn't mentally prepared for this but his body refused to jerk back and leave the room. His eyelids close halfway and he looks a lot more relaxed than he is.]

I think it is. [His grin is a lot less pointed than usual.]

If you want to go around waking people up by sticking your tongue into them, I really have some much better suggestions on where you can stick it. [She smiles a tight-lipped smile, very much awake, and attempts to push Virgil down onto the mattress by simply exerting more force onto his throat.] You know, at the risk of sounding vulgar.

That so? [He manages in a low, intrigued hum. It doesn't take much effort on her part to land him on his back. It takes his arms a few seconds to realize they're no longer supporting his weight and relax at this sides.] And just what do you have in mind, love?

You want me to say it? [There's a husky laugh as she straddles him, her touch lighter now that she's got him where she wants him, but still her fingertips press down on his skin. She bends towards him, lips ghosting over his cheek.] You know I'm no good with dirty talk. But if you insist-

[She smiles against she shell of his ear and inhales, air hissing between her teeth, and then finally, in the lowest, sultriest of whispers:]

I suggest you stick it up your own ass.

[And then she's off of him, off the bed, draping a duster around her shoulders, and before she's fully tied it around her waist she's out the door, slamming it shut.]
