[Oh, this is not going to end well. Tron stands his ground and fixes Rinzler with an emotionless stare.]

Did you want something?

[He starts to shake his head, stops mid-way through the action, becomes still for some time... then tilts his head curiously and stares at Tron like that.

He moves closer until they're nearly touching, head bowed over Tron's shoulder and just stands there. He rumbles quietly, soft and un-antagonistic. Oddly settled. He lifts one hand up to trace, in the air, the T pattern on Tron's chest.]

[This is... different. Tron freezes, hands at his side, watching Rinzler move closer, not touching, but his hand... he can almost swear there's an electric-like current that passes to his circuits from Rinzler's fingertips, so close to him now.]

Rinzler...?

[He remains still a moment longer, just... watching the other program, his double, his dark half, eyes focused on the red-orange T-shape below Rinzler's helmet. Finally, he brings his hand up, curling his fingers around Rinzler's, white-blue circuits brushing red.]

What is it?

[Rinzler's hand flinches in an automatic reaction to the touch but he doesn't pull away. After a hesitant moment he reciprocates, red-tipped fingers wrapping around blue almost possessively.

He leans in closer to Tron until his helmet is resting gently in the crook of Tron's neck and shoulder.

He doesn't answer; doesn't know how.]

[Tron hesitates, but slowly relaxes, letting Rinzler rest against him. His hand tightens around the other program's, thumb rubbing in an instinctive, comforting pattern.

After a long moment, his other hand comes up to rest lightly on Rinzler's shoulder.]

All right. Just... okay. Stay if you need to.

[The enforcer instantly tenses as the arm goes around his shoulder but--subroutines, deep and subtle, force him to relax as the gesture is too familiar from another, golden program's actions. Besides, he had initiated the contact in the first place for some reason. It would be counterproductive to move away now. And... for some reason, he didn't really want to anyway.

So he relaxed, and he brought up his free arm around Tron's back to rest just under Tron's disc port, arm wrapped all the way around so that he clutched Tron's opposite side with his hand. Clung to the other needily.]
