Kat is his bro, okay. ;-; There's been a bit of a shift recently in their relationship tho, probably because Kat hasn't been around as much? Thom's sort of doing the HERP DERP DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG? But she is still and will always be his favourite.
Also we should do things with them. ;-; CLEARLY THEY SHOULD GO ON JUNKYARD ADVENTURES.
CHARLES ON BLACK-ONE:
Charles actually doesn't know what to think of her right now? He respects her a great deal, and he feels terrible about what happened during the event, but he has no idea how to address her now that it's been revealed she's a chick. Which is funny because he had no trouble adjusting to Noble Six, but lololol because his first mental impression of One was 'dude', he's probably going to be a bit awkwardsauce around her, negl.
... But once he gets past that it'll probably end up being on his bucket list to get her in bed. Ayep.

Can be summed up as: LOGAN Y U DO. Charles was getting along with him quite handily until they had that little Difference of Opinion re: Raven, and now he's just sort of irritated because his #whiteboyprivilege / #invisiblemutationprivilege has been sort of railroaded. Charles is also desperately irritated that it caused Logan to lose esteem for him because he was quite enjoying the respect that Logan has for his older counterpart. Having to deal with losing face when contrasted against a version of himself some fifty years in the future is extremely annoying to him. He's torn between going YOU CAN'T JUDGE ME BY MY OLDER SELF and realizing that would sound incredibly petty and whiny.
Basically, Logan is making him confront some unpleasant things about himself, which is a role Charles usually fills for other people. As far as role reversals go it's absolutely staggering. He's off-balance to an extent he's never known before. Not only did this dude show up and tell him HEY YOU'RE GONNA BE IN A WHEELCHAIR (which Charles currently thinks won't happen until he's too old for it to matter because HOW COULD IT HAPPEN TO HIM WHEN HE'S YOUNG AND INVINCIBLE) and HEY YOUR BEST FRIEND TRIES TO USE YOU TO KILL THE HUMAN RACE and yeah. Charles is sort of unsettled by all of this.
That said, despite his irritation (which is equally at himself for being irritated in the first place), he respects Logan quite handily, even if he wants to psychically punch him in the face sometimes. IT'S THE BEGINNING OF A BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP.

Not sure if there's enough for Charles to have formulated a full opinion. MAYBE WHEN WE GET FURTHER IN THIS LOG? Right now he's decided to trust his instinct and go with liking/trusting the dude, but Thane is also a mystery/puzzle box to him, which strips some of the humanity out of their ~burgeoning friendship~. Depending on where that goes I can definitely see progression towards, you know, actual friendship. Charles will be able to respect him and his experiences and even now he hopes he'll be able to help him with his little problem. (In his arrogance, of course, the possibility has done little more than manifest and be dismissed that getting in Thane's head could seriously screw him up.)
THOM ON THANE:
For some reason, it's never really pinged on Thom's radar that Thane is an alien. Maybe because he looks nothing like the Covenant but he's mostly just been like 'oh hey bro' and never really thought much about it? IDEK, MAN. Thom would do anything for Thane, that's not even an exaggeration okay. Also I need to make a habit of replying to Thane's posts with him more often SELF Y U DO... BASICALLY THEY NEED TO BRO AROUND BEING AWESOME TOGETHER FOR ALL ETERNITY, THE END.

I'm not sure how to say this without it sounding hilarious but I actually think Charles has a bit of a brocrush on Barricade. He's like, YES, SOMEONE I CAN SNARK AT PLAYFULLY! And this is of course groovy. I swear to god some of their interaction has been borderline flirtatious, in that Very British Way that Charles has about him. Plus, he's fairly respectful of him because OH LOOK AN OFFICER OF THE LAW except not.
... Also Charles will probably realize that the Kidz Ain't Aiight the second he meets him in person. WAT AM STRANGE CYBERTRONIAN LANGUAGE???
THOM ON ROOKIE
First of all, Rookie is actually pretty similar in personality to Thom, so AUTOMATIC BROFIST. He's chill and laid-back and cool, but he's definitely capable of being SRSBSNS when he needs to be, and Thom likes that. THEY NEED TO HANG OUT MORE.
The other aspect of their dynamic that I can mention is actually about O'Brien. Thom has no idea what's going on between them, but he's pretty sure Rookie is good for O'Brien, and since Obri chooses to open up to ~so few people~ he's pretty willing to take Rookie as being a pretty cool dude eh doesn't afraid of anything on that basis alone.
WE NEED TO DO MORE WITH THEM I SWEAR.
