Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.
Now, tensions are at a peak and both sides are preparing for a throwdown. Skirmishes break out on the station and planet. Many of Hypatia's prisoners have been freed, but many more have fallen to the clutches of reprogramming.
Where will you be?
How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked
-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.
-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.
-Fill out the form below to give us an idea of what your character is up to, what happened to them etc. Thread with each other! RP it out!
-Also, bring in your extra journals! There won't be the same people on the station ten years from now! If you're planning to app someone, or just have something interesting lying around, toss them in!

Current location: Asphodel.
Current Physical Appearance: When puberty hit John, it hit John like a ton of bricks. He's tall. 6' or 6'1". Nowhere near as tall as Time God Dave is, but he makes up for it by showing off the fact that it isn't just good ecto-genetics that he's able to swing around sledgehammers like they don't weigh anything at all. He's pretty thick, and his resistance work has kind of turned him into a built tank of sorts. His left eye - due to a hassle when escape happened - was replaced with a synthetic one, which he lets the more robotic types in the resistance check on every now and again. He keeps it patched up whenever he gets a chance to hit up Sacrosanct. He still wears the god tier ensemble, but ripped the sleeves off long ago. He's got a few rips and tears - luckily immortality rules are fairly vague in these circumstances.
Summary: When the end came, John wasn't ready for it, but he was bound and determined to make sure as many of his friends saw their way off as he could. Hypatia managed to snag him once in the beginning, deciding "oh hey, I remember when you had robot eyes!" And replaced one with a synthetic. He managed to escape and regroup with the resistance during an early raid, and refuses to tell anyone he doesn't have to. Karkat knows, but only because of an altercation the two of them had.
Work-wise, he's the Resistance's go-to everyman. Whether it be labor or needing quick defenses or skirmishes, John is ready and willing to lend a hand. He's probably the most support oriented out of the resistance's Bullshit God Gang. He's just as determined as Dave to get his Space Dog Cyborg God Sister back, but he's also been keeping up morale and doing needed supply runs, the things that keep their war against Hypatia moving. He's joined battle a few times - especially when there's rumors that Jade might be there, and he can be a reckless hothead - ten years of resistance will do that to you - but he's still John, and he's still trying to get everyone home safe.
The loss of his alternate counterpart hit him hard, and since then, John has been redoubling his efforts to help everyone. There's many nights he's sitting there with one of his many hammers, sustained only by coffee and his own, occasionally lonely thoughts. He isn't going to give up until they've won. He kind of tries to look out for everyone as a whole, a weird father figure to the family they've established at times. It's not really much and he doesn't really come off as fatherly more than frienderly, but it's what he feels he needs to do.

They know where the rebels are but they just can't get to them -- Sollux keeps them well-hidden and well-protected, which infuriates Jade to no end. But sometimes it just seems like she's there because she's missing something, some part of her life that slipped through her hands in the years after she learned to live with the madness of her broken brain.
And maybe she's acting that way today: lost, a little lonely. John might find her as he wanders from job to job, standing far enough away from the resistance base that it's obvious she's not there to try and attack.
