Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Now, tensions are at a peak and both sides are preparing for a throwdown. Skirmishes break out on the station and planet. Many of Hypatia's prisoners have been freed, but many more have fallen to the clutches of reprogramming.

Where will you be?

How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked

-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.

-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.

-Fill out the form below to give us an idea of what your character is up to, what happened to them etc. Thread with each other! RP it out!

-Also, bring in your extra journals! There won't be the same people on the station ten years from now! If you're planning to app someone, or just have something interesting lying around, toss them in!

Name: Rock Light, nee "Mega Man"
Current location: Sacrosanct
Current Physical Appearance: A lot of him still looks like a 10 year old, but he's definitely taller now, with bits that don't exactly conform to his standard blue bomber design, jury-rigged bits here and there, to keep himself together. His hair hasn't changed, but he's got new hands - longer and spindlier, with new techie bits grafted on - and his chest and back plates have had a lot of tech grafted to him over the years. Legs have a lot of newer bits, too. He's got a more teenage frame with a lot of jury rigged attachments on almost his entire body.
Summary: When the Three Laws Compliance kicks in, it kicks hard. While the rest of the station was busy preparing a mass evacuation, Rock elected to stay - he couldn't watch everyone evacuate when Hypatia needed to be stopped. He overestimated the amount of damage he could do during the initial evacuation, and fell back.

For a while, he operated on dead air. He refused to sync his systems with the network, knowing full well that the minute he did, Hypatia would see him and try to claim him as her own - which Rock knew he couldn't abide by. So he waited, and waited, trying to find bits and pieces he could use to get onto the network, let others know he was still online.

It wasn't easy, but he did it. Carving out one of the more abandoned station chunks for himself, he doesn't serve the resistance directly - they wouldn't trust him. Instead he acts how he can, being one of the few established techbots on Sacrosanct not under Hypatia's control. He never uses the same trick twice, and changes locations as often as he can.

He's got in a few skirmishes before, he knows that Hypatia is probably aware he's on the station. He's taken enough damage over the years to warrant replacement parts - he had to remove the Variable Weapons System from himself after a while, it having grown too unstable, but the Copy Chip is still functioning, allowing him to stay a couple steps ahead of Hypatia's codebreakers. He works the data networks of Sacrosanct now, occasionally reaching out to try and patch communications with any resistance members who will talk to him. He helps where he can, when he can.

Dr. Light wanted peace for robot and humankind, after all.

Sacrosanct is a big station. It's entirely possible that with so few rats in the sewers that neither of them would ever meet. But Megaman works the networks and Kim works the mechanics, and neither of them can afford to dip into the other's realm incautiously.

So, when Kim does touch the digital realm, she notices things. Little things that tickle at her imperfect, organic mind. She begins looking for him.

And then.

She finds him.

Kim squanders six sightings in silence, savoring those half-glimpses and peeks because no matter how either of them hides, she's still a roboticist and he's still a reploid. Protoman is dead, a martyr to save the lives of the evacuees. It looks like Megaman is as much a fighter as his almost-brother had been. As Kim was.

Eventually, she decides that this has gone on long enough. Kim flicks a pebble at him from her hiding place in a drainpipe that's well above street height. It plinks off his helmet, and she withdraws. Either he'll come into the dark warren where it's safer to talk and work and travel, or he won't. Kimiko doesn't dare do more.

It's hard, to find him. Almost impossible. But there are few things harder to crush than a sister hunting her own brother, and she'd go to the ends of the multiverse itself to find him.

Considering her own upgrades, they're still close to the same height. She still manages to lift him up off the ground when she hugs him, laughing giddily with the air of someone who's won a game of hide and seek.

"Found you-!"
