Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Now, tensions are at a peak and both sides are preparing for a throwdown. Skirmishes break out on the station and planet. Many of Hypatia's prisoners have been freed, but many more have fallen to the clutches of reprogramming.

Where will you be?

How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked

-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.

-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.

-Fill out the form below to give us an idea of what your character is up to, what happened to them etc. Thread with each other! RP it out!

-Also, bring in your extra journals! There won't be the same people on the station ten years from now! If you're planning to app someone, or just have something interesting lying around, toss them in!

No matter how many times Sonic uses the window, it will always scare the pupcat out of Karkat. He practically leaps, throwing the pen he was writing with across the room.

"SWEET MOTHER OF GRUBS, DOORS STILL EXIST. THEY HAVE NEVER STOPPED FUNCTIONING, NOT WHEN THE ROBOTS TOOK OVER, NOT WHEN WE ALL DIE, THEY ARE COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT OF ANY AND ALL HISTORICAL OR AHISTORICAL SITUATIONS SURROUNDING THEM. DOORS ARE THE ONE STABILITY IN OUR WORLD. FUCKING. USE THEM." Nope, gotta deal with Karkat's bitching before you get your favors.

"...window's quicker, though. Pretty sure if I knocked, you'd just tell me to fuck off, too."

He's a little sharper than he's given credit for, sometimes.

"I would probably tell you to fuck off less if you used the fucking door." EYEROLL and frustrated sigh.

"Well? The faster you tell me what you want, the faster I can get rid of you. What's up?"

"I was in the middle of a raid when Harley caught on to me, and things pretty much went FUBAR, so I only managed to get out with a few of the prisoners. I wanted to go back, but people are tellin' me it's too soon. So, need you to do that thing where you yell at people 'til they do what you want so I can get a shuttle and go back up."

Fucking Harleybot goddamnit. But here's where a leader has to make choices, and here's where Karkat has to decide. To wait means that the prisoners left behind will be relocated, and it might take months to find them again. But to strike now, Hypatia knows they're coming. They'll face more losses than anything.

So, he passes his verdict.

"No."

Every part that makes Karkat Karkat screams against that decision, but it's got to be made. They don't have the numbers to needlessly expend on botched rescue missions.

"Go take care of what prisoners we've saved. Focus on them for now."

Sonic had a feeling that answer was coming, and when it comes, it's immediately apparent exactly how he feels about it.

"So you just want me to freakin' give up on the guys that are still there? That station is huge, she's gonna pull up stakes and move them somewhere else and we'll never find them again!

"Where the hell's all that 'we should do more raids' crap you're always talking about?!"

Karkat's already standing before Sonic's finished speaking, getting his shout on.

"I'm talking about more raids that aren't terribly planned and fucking stupid! There's no point rushing in there ass first, and losing more idiots than we save!"

"I'm not asking for a whole team here, y'jackass! Just let me go and bring back the guys who are still stuck there! By the time Hypatia realizes I came back so quick, I'll already be gone!"

His spines flare out as he speaks, he was already shot down, and asking Karkat was the last idea he had. For once, he's dangerously close to losing his temper.

"Shit, y'know what she's gonna do to those guys if we just leave 'em for her to move somewhere else?!"

"No, I've got no fucking clue. I just usually sit here, twiddling my prongs up my waste chute, wondering if Hypatia's serving her slaves nice, warm grubloaf or not."

Pause.

"That was SARCASM, YOU SNIVELING RETARD." If Sonic's about to lose his temper, Karkat has already assassinated his own and has no regrets. With each word, he takes a step towards Sonic (stomping all over various maps, whoops).

"Hypatia knows we'd try a second rescue attempt, surprise surprise! She's not fucking stupid, like you seem to be! She's waiting for your furry little blue ass, and she's got lots of plans for it once she's got you. Because you will get caught. Because she is waiting for you."
