Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Now, tensions are at a peak and both sides are preparing for a throwdown. Skirmishes break out on the station and planet. Many of Hypatia's prisoners have been freed, but many more have fallen to the clutches of reprogramming.

Where will you be?


How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked

-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.

-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.

-Fill out the form below to give us an idea of what your character is up to, what happened to them etc. Thread with each other! RP it out!

-Also, bring in your extra journals! There won't be the same people on the station ten years from now! If you're planning to app someone, or just have something interesting lying around, toss them in!

"I wasn't speakin' literally, I meant out when we're fightin'." Legit rolling an eye right now.

"Then I'll send you on solo missions." Karkat has two eyes. He can doubleroll.

Well. Rude. "I appreciate it, but I'm also feelin' like I'm in some rut or somethin'."

Karkat doesn't answer. His silence is practically shouting EXPLAIN YOURSELF for him.

[princeofhope]

"Because it's not fuckin' obvious I'm havin' trouble keepin' my last quadrant an' I'm not even feelin' like I'm fit t'be out in the world anymore an' I can't come up with any fuckin' plans that are actually useful." He grumbled, god he's so glad he can talk to Karkat about some of this stuff like this. "Though I already did whine about the injuries an' shit, but I'm serious. Th'last three plans I tried t'come up with ended in total failure. I'm the god damned sea troll, I should have this expertise encoded in my blood. The late Orphaner was as fuckin' great at them, if not better."

"You're obviously not Orphaner, and the sooner you realize this, the better. Strategizing and planning takes practice. You don't suddenly become good at it. You keep trying, and you keep hoping that your fuckups don't result in deaths. Sitting around, wishing you were better doesn't do shit. You need to develop your skills, just like training to use a weapon. Except the weapon is your goddamn brain-sponge."

[princeofhope]

"Dualscar." He corrected. "I only call him by his fuckin' title because I have the rights to." Growling slightly, he shifts again, turning over to let his back face Karkat. "Considerin' that I had been doin' that shit before we started SGRUB, I'm wonderin' what even went wrong with me between then and now. I have been even OVER preparin' t'try an' make sure that there's nothin' t'fuckin' fail my plan, but they're still shitty as ever." He shook his hand in the air, "Plus, if you haven't noticed, we don't really have the fuckin' time for me t'try to just sit down an' work on it like I want to."

Alas, he sits there in silence, realizing what he just said.

"... ... But you're right. I've been practicin' my fuckin' ass off, but I know it's not gonna be enough until I start showin' some hard results. We just got off by some a the ones I came up with. I also can't fuckin' believe I still can't live up to my god damned title."

Uh... He peers back over his shoulder to Karkat, chuckling sheepishly. "I'm just coverin' all of the corners with you, huh? ... I really hope you don't mind. I can stop if y'want me to."

"No, it's fine. Sometimes, you idiots need someone to bounce their words off of, regardless of how absolutely stupid they sound. Unfortunately for me, I'm that someone."

There's a pause before he continues, as he weighs the merits of his next offer.

"Next time you come up with a plan, be it for practice or for real, run it by me. This isn't an order. It's an offer." An offer that he really doesn't have the time for, but if it'll help Eridan out, he'll make time for it.

[pariahdom]

"I would have someone else if you know, I had a moirail or someone else to bounce my words off. But, yo know... kinda missin' everyone important to me to a point. Sort of."

Not going to mention that he had you know... actually seen Gamzee lately, but he didn't want to talk about it. He turns his head a little bit, looking a little bit dumbstruck. "You'd... do somethin' like that for me?"

"Yeah, I would. But it means you've got to get your ass working. You can't just give up. I'm not going to be around to plan all this shit forever, and even before that, I can't make all the plans all alone."

He points to the seat next to him. It's covered in maps and shit, but whatever.

"So sit your ass down for a bit. We're going to have a brief lesson in plan-making, and then you're going to practice. Got it?"
