Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Now, tensions are at a peak and both sides are preparing for a throwdown. Skirmishes break out on the station and planet. Many of Hypatia's prisoners have been freed, but many more have fallen to the clutches of reprogramming.

Where will you be?

How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked

-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.

-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.

It bothers him. It always bothers him the way she takes away will, and he knows why she hasn't bothered with his: because there's so little left of his own that he can't bring himself to care.

Except here. Except in these cases. God damn it. He shouldn't be so sentimental. But there's still something of a fighting spirit here and, more than that, a kindred spirit.

They've both lost brothers, after all. They've both watched the evil man is capable of. They've both given in to the common perception of their kind, broken by the prejudices against them.

He can feel Hypatia's pressure on his core processes, but for him it's light, barely there. She usually only uses it to give him direction, not to force him. And sometimes, when he's not needed, he's alone.

So why the hell not? What the fuck does he have left to lose?

He approaches the pink-haired creature, and he reaches for that thing in the kid's forehead.

"Let's watch this city burn."

Pull it on out. Take off the chains. Let's go.

He's not supposed to let anyone touch the device. It was one of the first orders he was ever given. And yet when Megaman reaches for it he freezes, psychic arms poised around him but hovering harmlessly in place.

The deed is gone. His head feels like it's on fire and the sensation is creeping down his spine but despite that he breaks into a fit of nervous laughter. He sinks to the floor, staring at his fingers and marveling at the fact that he can move them on his own. His body is his again and it is fucking amazing.

The laughter morphs into manic shrieking as his spectral limbs spread through the zone. This place isn't going to last very long.
