Ten years later, humanity and the synthetic life on the station are at odds
Hypatia has inducted as many citizens of Sacrosanct into a private military and launched
an all-out war against organic life and the people of Asphodel.
Some were kept on the station as captives, some escaped down planet-side
to become part of the resistance, and countless others were re-purposed into
Hypatia's willing slaves.

Now, tensions are at a peak and both sides are preparing for a throwdown. Skirmishes break out on the station and planet. Many of Hypatia's prisoners have been freed, but many more have fallen to the clutches of reprogramming.

Where will you be?

How this works:
-If you are synthetic or part-synthetic, OR if you have special armor (Looking at you, Spartans, Troncast, EVERY ROBOT EVER) you are a target for re-purpose.
You can still have escaped down to the planet, but she'll be after you. Going to the station is dangerous, once you enter her wide-area-network you are at risk of being hacked

-If you are fully organic, you are either dead, kept prisoner and made to work on the station, or part of the resistance on Asphodel.

-Anything in-between? You decide. Be creative with this.

-Fill out the form below to give us an idea of what your character is up to, what happened to them etc. Thread with each other! RP it out!

By then Nepeta's returned to her den, curling in on herself as she tries to lick the wound clean. It's more damage than she's sustained in a long time and quite frankly she's not thrilled at all. The throbbing pain makes using this arm for the time being impossible, unless she's eager to experience more injury.

The only comforting thought she has for now is that she lost Karkat. The sulkier part of her mind hopes that he'll wander around the tunnels for days before dropping dead of starvation. That would show him.

He's quiet until he's outside the den (he can tell from the blood splatters and how worn down the ground around this place is). In his mental maps of the areas, this is left field way out in fucking nowhere. No wonder he hadn't encountered Nepeta in the past.

He remains outside, not entering without permission, but still on his guard. This is her safe place. He can't just go in and fuck it all up.

"I can fix your injury." Karkat is a professional when it comes to bear trap wounds.

"Go away."

Her tone is meant to be threatening, but by this point Nepeta is completely exhausted and it comes out sounding more petulant than anything else. All she wants to do is stop her arm from bleeding out and take a nap and not listen to this awful man anymore.

He made her head hurt in all the wrong ways and he just wouldn't leave her alone. Nepeta was seriously starting to regret not gutting him on sight.

"Nope. I won the game. So if I do go, you're coming with me." He remains where he is, though.

"Now, do you want to stop bleeding or not? I doubt it's particularly fun."

"You cheated, it doesn't count." Against her better judgement she rolls over to shoot him the most baleful glare that she can muster up at the moment.

"And I haven't been having any fun at all since you got here."

Karkat makes a face in return.

"Well, poor you. It's not my fault I'm damn good at what I do."

She retaliates with another equally mature face.

"Being good at cheating's nothing to be proud of!"

This face forever.

"Cheating means I win!"

"Cheating means you don't know how to win!"

She may not have been able to out beartrap you but god damn will she outface you. She needs to recover some of her dignity here.

Okay, no, Nepeta has won the face-off. She is both Nicholas Cage and John Travolta starring each other. Because, unfortunately for Karkat, he can only hold his ridiculous faces as long as his temper's in check. Hint: it's not.

"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life!"

This small victory causes her to perk up a bit and become more involved with the conversation. Something about the pattern of this argument feels familiar, like a long lost glove that still retains the wearer's shape. It's far too easy to slip back into without thinking about it.

"No, it makes purrfect sense! If you knew how to win you wouldn't have to cheat to get the same result."
